Ellipse Entertainment has signed an agreement with mkodo to utilise the digital app and user interface developer’s GeoLocs solution in the Ontario betting market.
A UK-based company, Ellipse is active in Ontario via its High Flyer Casino brand. It will leverage GeoLocs in the province, Canada’s only regulated betting market, to provide ‘a safe, secure, and fraud-free environment’.
GeoLocs was developed by mkodo with North American regulated betting and gaming markets in mind, specifically seeking to enhance how operators comply with licensing requirements relating to fraud and responsible gaming.
Stuart Godfree, Managing Director at mkodo, said: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Ellipse Entertainment in Ontario, introducing GeoLocs to enhance their iGaming operations.
“Our partnership supports Ellipse Entertainment’s High Flyer Casino brand, ensuring a secure and seamless geolocation verification experience for players across Ontario.”
GeoLocs has been taken live with a number of operators in Ontario, which is home to one of North America’s largest and – in the view of some operators SBC Media has spoken to – best regulated markets.
The platform received a boost to its operations last year when it received certification from Gambling Laboratories International (GLI), a development which mkodo stated ‘solidifies the use of GeoLocs as a compliant geolocation software in jurisdictions worldwide
Andy McDowall, Director at Ellipse Entertainment, said: “GeoLocs has been the ideal solution for our geolocation verification needs in Ontario. The platform’s advanced technology and expertise, tailored for iGaming operators, align perfectly with our commitment to responsible gaming.
“Teaming up with mkodo and their GeoLocs service allows Ellipse Entertainment to provide High Flyer Casino players with a compliant and enjoyable online gaming experience.”
